Who is SANE?

After more than 15 years working on AV systems for corporate offices, schools, government spaces, medical facilities, financial institutions, museums, broadcast environments, and theaters, he kept running into the same frustrating pattern: the industry has plenty of knowledge, but too much of it is paywalled, vendor-shaped, inconsistent, or passed around as tribal wisdom. SANE grew out of that frustration. Andrew drives the project's vision, RFC process, and technical direction, with the goal of making AV standards more open, practical, and useful for the people doing the work.
